Congressman Gary Palmer will host the 6^th Congressional District’s annual Military Service Academy information night at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 30 at Vestavia City Hall. The event is open to all students in the 10^th, 11^th and 12^th grades and their families who are interested in attending one of the United States Service academies. Representatives from the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, Merchant Marine Academy and the U.S. Coast Guard, as well as from Marion Military Academy, will be there to answer questions, and a representative of Congressman Palmer’s office will go through the application/nomination process.
