Building Safety only addresses property complaints relative to the structural condition of a building. Beginning October 2014, all other property complaints are addressed by the Police Department’s Code Enforcement Officer. Sign permits are to be obtained through Building Safety. Vestavia Hills signage regulations are contained in Ordinance. To report suspected signage violations, call 205.978.0125 or use the Vestavia Hills Action Center. Complete the appropriate sign application and return to Building Safety.
