The Vestavia Belles have a long-standing tradition in our beautiful city. The Belles were first presented in the spring of 1979 to serve as Junior Hostesses at civic and cultural events. Since that time, they have evolved into an active and integral part of the volunteer community in Vestavia Hills. Sponsored by the City of Vestavia Hills and the Beautification Board, the Belles serve as volunteers and ambassadors during community events and activities.
Applications are no longer being accepted as of 5pm CST Friday, October 2, 2020.
Vestavia Belles are selected via an application and interview process. To apply, an applicant must be:
— a resident of the City of Vestavia Hills or attend Vestavia Hills High School; and
— a high school sophomore or junior with a minimum of a “C” average in every subject.
For an application to be considered, all of the following must be completed:
— Application form completed and signed
— Covenant and Code of Conduct signed
— Copy of most recent report card attached/uploaded
— Recent head shot uploaded; Include 5 wallet size photos with printed applications
— Application fee of $35 paid* (checks payable to Vestavia Hills Beautification Board)
*If application is submitted online, the application fee must be mailed or delivered to:

Once your application has been received, you will be contacted to schedule your interview. All applicants will be notified via the U. S. Postal Service about the outcome of their interview. If selected, applicants must maintain acceptable grades and commit to abide by the Belles’ Code of Conduct.
