The annual Alabama 2023 Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday will begin on February 24, 2023 and will end on February 26, 2023.  This event allows shoppers to purchase certain severe weather preparedness items from of state and city sales taxes (some County taxes still apply, 1% is waived).  More information may be obtained at https://www.revenue.alabama.gov/sales-use/alabama-severe-weather-preparedness-sales-tax-holiday/
